  16. That's wrong. You have to turn on or off the initiation of synchronous transfer
  17. requests by the A3000 globally. Wether a particular drive is used in synchronous
  18. mode depends on the outcome of the negotiation.
  19. Even if you turn it _off_ you may end with synchronous transfer to be used for
  20. some devices _if_ these devices request synchronous transfers themselves.
