- That's wrong. You have to turn on or off the initiation of synchronous transfer
- requests by the A3000 globally. Wether a particular drive is used in synchronous
- mode depends on the outcome of the negotiation.
- Even if you turn it _off_ you may end with synchronous transfer to be used for
- some devices _if_ these devices request synchronous transfers themselves.
